3. ๐ฌUse the dispute resolution process๐ฌ: Most UPI payment apps have a dispute resolution process that you can use to request a refund. For example, in the BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) app, you can select the transaction and click on the "Raise Dispute" option to request a refund.
4. ๐ฎFile a police complaint๐ฎ: If the recipient is not responding to your requests for a refund, or if you suspect that you have been scammed, you can file a police complaint. Provide the police with all the details of the transaction, including the wrong UPI ID, the amount, and any communication you may have had with the recipient.
It is important to act quickly if you have sent money to the wrong UPI ID, as the longer you wait, the harder it may be to recover the funds.
